League of Legends (LoL) is a multiplayer online battle arena (MOBA) by Riot Games. Two teams of five players each control a champion and compete on Summoner's Rift. The goal is to destroy the enemy Nexus, protected by turrets and inhibitors. Players earn gold by defeating minions, monsters, and enemy champions, then spend it on items to grow stronger. Roles include top, jungle, mid, ADC (bot carry), and support. Matches typically last 25–45 minutes.
